Moto G4 Review A $150 Fully Featured Prepaid Phone
Considering the price, the Moto G4 is pretty awesome smartphone. The Moto G4’s build quality isn’t the best, but it’s not bad either. The device is made of plastic but doesn’t feel cheap due to the texture Motorola has added to the back of the phone. The phone also has faux metal trimming around the edges of the device.
Where the Moto G4 shines for me, is the display, it has a 1080p IPS panel which sounds pretty standard but the colors on this IPS display just seem to pop better than the other Moto G devices I’ve seen. So, playing games and watching movies on the 5.5 inch IPS display is actually quite enjoyable. Which brings me to talk about specs for the Moto G4.
Here’s What You Get:
5.5 Inch IPS Display 16M Colors
Android 6.0 Marshmallow
Quad-Core 1.5Ghz Adreno 405 Snapdragon 617 Processor
Micro SD Slot Up To 256GB
2GB Ram
16MP Rear Camera
5MP Front Facing Camera
WIFI 802.11
Non-Removable 3000 mAh Battery
With the Moto G4 you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box with no bloatware however Motorola has added a couple of standard apps. Regardless you are buying a pretty much stock android experience right out of the box which makes this phone worth buying. Especially if you are looking for a cheap option but want a decent phone.
This phone crushes pretty much anything you can currently throw at it due to that nice Adreno 405 processor, so you can any play game at a decent frame rate. The battery life is actually pretty good and it will get you through a day with 20-30 percent battery left over.
The camera quality is nice enough so you can take some pretty awesome stills with it, nothing too far from what we’ve seen in other smartphones of this caliber.
