5 Tip Strategy To Get Your First 100 Subscribers

Have a Plan

Mapping out plan is a necessity, use OneNote or Evernote or which ever note taking app is comfortable for you. Make a list of possible video topics and write scripts for them. Do research on topics to make sure you are giving the correct information and your viewers will keep coming back because you are helping them and being honest. Be yourself and have fun engaging with your viewer's, if they see that you love what you are doing then they will likely love you for doing it!

Stay Consistent

Without Consistency, you will not manage a good subscriber count. Your channel always needs to be up to date. At the beginning you may need to post a video three to four times a week. When starting on YouTube, reaching a high volume of video's is key, because every video you post is a chance for search to find you and new viewers to see you. The more your viewers see that your channel is staying up to date, the sooner they will convert to subscribers.

Diversify

You need to reach as many people as soon as possible so you need to be well versed in various topics about your niche. This will allow you to be able to reach more possible subscribers in a very short time. So, be sure to post video's about an array of different topics so the SEO can put you on the map. Be sure to have a social media map set up for sharing your diverse content across as many social media outlets as possible. Having posts linking back to your videos will be helpful for Google's SEO to rank you in the search. So, make sure your video's are shareable!

Use Tags and Titles correctly

This is one of the most important things to focus on when posting your video's. Because the Title and tags in your video's help Google's Search Engine Optimization place your videos in the right spot. Your goal is to reach the first page of the search and it won't always work, but if you have a variety of videos with ranging topics then you'll have plenty of opportunity. Make sure your title and tags are not misleading and are relevant to the video content. If you post a lot of click bait, Google will know it and tag your videos as spam and you will have a very hard time ranking in SEO.

Create Custom Thumbnails

Creating custom thumbnails is a great way to show off your talent as a creator and can quickly boost your click through rate. Just think about what you would click on when your searching for a YouTube video, if the thumbnail looks crusty, chances are you're not going to click on it. Even if the video content was good you'd never know because the crusty thumbnail turned you away from watching the video. So, make thumbnails you would click on. There are several software options for creating custom thumbnails, I personally use Adobe Photoshop CC and I have a tutorial on how to create a custom thumbnail so click the link to check it out.
