Phone Carrier Insurance Is A Scam!!!
There's no doubt that phone carrier insurance is the biggest scam of the 21st century. When you buy a new phone the carrier lures you in with the catchy phrases of "you are going to need protection on this new expensive phone" "make sure you protect your investment with insurance!" and suckers the consumer into throwing away an extra $8-$15 on phone insurance. The thing that is so infuriating about this is the fact that when you do break your nice shinny new phone and try to cash in on you "investment" you quickly realize that your phone carrier was just out to get your money and not actually help you "protect your investment". So a few months or whatever rolls by with this brand spanking new smart phone and you drop it, your heart stops for a moment and the phone breaks. You carry your phone to the carrier and they tell you "I'm sorry to hear about your phone and we will help you for the low low price of $200-$300". So after you swallow your tounge with frustraition at the fact that you already pay a monthly premium to have phone insurance, you quickly realize that you have to pay an extra $200-$300 when you actually need to use it. It should be illegal for phone carriers to rip off thier customers like this and so I carry out my frustriation with phone insurance in this video.
