Powerbeats2 Wireless Headphones Review

These wireless headphones are fantastic for listening to music, the sound is smooth and the earbuds don't rattle when the volume is turned up full blast. I am really impressed with the smoothness of the sound and the style of the headphones which are appealing to the eye as well as being a quality made product. The headphones build quality is sturdy and not flimsy ( you don’t feel like you are about to break them in other words). The battery lasts quite a long time between 5 and 5 and a half hours for me, which is a pretty long time of straight listening to music or podcasts. The headphones come with three different ear buds ranging from small to large and it's nice that they included these in the package. If you loose all your ear tips you can call Apple support (since they now own the Beats Company) and order them for $10 bucks. You can also use generic tips as these things aren't proprietary. The Powerbeats2 also come with a nifty carrying case which I think is pretty awesome and small enough to put in a jacket or coat pocket.

I have spent a few weeks with these headphones and they are very solid and consistent I haven't lost any battery life dramatically or anything like that and I hope they weather the test of time. Another thing I have noticed about the ear tips is that they feel like they are snug and tight but they are not, which I explained in my video review, but they can fall off the headphones easily when just resting around your neck so be careful. I do a lot of walking on the job so they will get through about 5 to 6 hours of my day before I have to plug them in for a recharge.

Listening to music on these guys are great but talking on the phone is whole other story. Using the headphone while talking on the phone can be frustrating in public places because of the sound feedback in most places and even the simplest of noises can cause negative feedback in these headphones. If you are in a quite place then it's no problem but as soon as you move into a relatively noisy environment then the audio will start to crack up and bug out. Obviously these headphones where not made for talking on the phone, rather listening to music. So, if you are in the market for solid wireless headphones (for music) then grab these up and you'll be happy you made the purchase.
